In the past years I’ve been maintaining and supporting a wide range of WordPress sites — from small brochure pages that hardly ever change to complex platforms that run on constant content, sales, or memberships. Along the way, I noticed something important: while the scale of work and responsibility can be very different, the foundation every site needs is always the same. Safe updates, smart backups, real security, and solid monitoring are non-negotiable, no matter the size of the site.
What changes is the level of care on top of that foundation. A small brochure site can usually be kept safe with a lighter touch, while a complex platform demands ongoing attention, testing, and optimization. That difference matters. The risk, the time, and the responsibility I take on vary hugely.
Until now, my care plans didn’t reflect that distinction clearly enough. So I’ve refined the structure to make it fairer, more transparent, and more closely aligned with what different kinds of sites truly need. Every plan now includes the same strong baseline — the difference lies only in how closely you want me involved, and how much responsibility your site requires.
Essential Care — For Smaller Sites
Essential Care is the foundation. It is made for websites that don’t change often and don’t carry huge business risk. If you just need reliable protection with safe updates, working backups and strong security, this plan makes sure you’re covered without paying for extras you will never use. It is lean, affordable and the right choice for smaller sites where peace of mind is enough.
Complete Care — For Growing Businesses
As businesses grow, their websites take on more responsibility like publishing content, generating leads and handling marketing campaigns. With more traffic and more moving parts, the stakes get higher.
Complete Care is designed for this stage. It builds on Essential with extra care each month such as time for small fixes, updates that need a closer look, light adjustments and check-ins on site performance. You also get faster support response and monthly reports that keep you informed.
Premium Care — For Complex or Mission-Critical Sites
Some sites are simply too important to leave to chance. Ecommerce shops, directories, membership platforms and other high-traffic websites cannot afford downtime or performance issues. The risks are greater and so is the responsibility.
Premium Care reflects that reality. It includes more development time, direct priority in my queue, faster response, monthly strategy calls and advanced performance optimization like Core Web Vitals work. This is not just maintenance — it is an active partnership to keep your site strong, fast and ready to support your business at scale.
What This Means for You
The aim of these refinements is fairness. Smaller sites are not overpaying. Growing sites get the balance of reliability and support they need. And larger, complex sites come with the level of care they genuinely demand.
If you’re already on a care plan, you don’t need to worry. Existing clients are grandfathered into their current pricing for now and nothing changes overnight. If a change ever makes sense for your site, we’ll talk it through together at the right time.
For new clients, the updated structure makes it easier to see the value of each level. No matter which plan you choose, the promise is the same. I will care for your site like it is my own. The difference is simply in how closely you want me involved and how much responsibility your site requires.
